What is Krishak Bandhu Scheme ?

After the Trinamool Congress took power in 2011, it has taken many welfare steps for the people of the state. It goes without saying that the Krishak Bandhu Scheme is one of them. This project was started across our state on January 1, 2019 under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. This project was started to stand by the financially backward farmers. However, this project has become stronger since 2021. The amount of money received by farmers has been increased a lot since 2021. This organization is mainly focusing on facilitating the farmers in their cultivation after the monsoon enters our state.

Now let us know what are the exact objectives of this Krishak Bandhu Scheme:

If we look into it a little, we will see that this project has been mainly created to stand by our farmer brothers. This project is for those farmers who are not financially self-sufficient and cannot buy quality seeds, fertilizers and other necessary farming equipment due to lack of money. Our government is mainly focusing on improving the quality of crops so that they can grow better and the quality of crops improves. Along with this, this government has also paid attention to another issue. This Krishak Bandhu project also provides protection so that the family of a farmer does not fall into poverty after his death. We will know how to do that a little later.

Benefits of Krishak Bandhu Scheme

All farmers who can register their names under the Krishak Bandhu project receive a total of four thousand taka per year, but only those who have one acre of land receive four thousand taka. Those whose land area is one acre or more receive more money. They receive approximately ten thousand taka per year. Basically, this money is given to them in two parts. We divide the crops that are produced in our Bengal under the influence of monsoon winds into two parts. One Rabi crop and one Kharif crop.

They get this money in two parts during the Rabi and Kharif crop cultivation. Another very big benefit is given in this Krishak Bandhu scheme. That is, if a farmer between the ages of 18 and 60 dies, his family will get two lakh rupees. This will be equally applicable in the case of natural death of the farmer, accident or suicide. Getting this support is a big benefit for a family.

Not only big landowners will get this benefit, but this benefit will also be equally effective for those who cultivate on other people’s land. In addition, those who are old farmers can also register their names in this scheme. Women will not be left out of this scheme. So there is an opportunity for everyone.
